I bumped into Yaminah inside Opening Ceremony. I took one look at that face (and hair) and knew that I had to shoot her. She was gushing on about hating how she was dressed “I just threw this on!” but like most things, that what made it all the better. I took this shot last winter outside Diptyque in Nolita (where I was uh shopping). This girl who’s name escapes me works inside. I loved her easy style so much I asked if could take her photo outside.
