We shot a little project over on Cockatoo Island today, so I thought I would make JD work even more, just in case he wasn’t over taking images of me. He’s such a good egg, that JD. We can’t wait to show you what we worked on! WEARING Lee Jeans Shorts Three Of Something Blouse Nine West Boots Madewell Bag I am loving this early Spring weather – it is so different to the -3 I experienced this past weekend while I was on a road trip in the Blue Mountains. I’ll
Flares are always a good idea. Well, not the ones I wore circa 2006, but the ones in my current wardrobe are. Best worn with basics or over-sized jumpers. Today I am keeping it monochrome and easy, because it’s Thursday and let’s be honest they were clean. Tomorrow is Jeans for Genes day, so don’t forget to wear your jeans and donate! It’s such a great cause. For more details head to the website! Now, I don’t mean to chat and dash but I have to go and pack! Again!
Outfit Details: Lipstick / Shirt (see more options below) / Jeans / Bag / Shoes (similar style) Side note: I found this button down at Forever 21, but the only issue when shopping in the store versus online is sometimes I can’t find what I bought to share with you all! I have been searching and searching on the website but can’t seem to locate this top. So instead, I picked a bunch of similar styles that I like so hopefully you can recreate this outfit if you like it! Happy shopping!
Greens, khakis, black, browns, dark blues – a colour palette I love at the moment. And it’s so easy to wear too. Today I wore a khaki knit paired with a black high waisted skirt and Beau Coops heels to dress it down. Khaki was one of the break through colours for S/S 15 and since I saw it on the runways for Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, Sonia Rykiel and John Galliano I have slowly found myself buying pieces of this colourway without even realising. It’s somewhat similar to my
I recently spent some time at the lovely Nolitan Hotel in Nolita and immediately fell in love. The rooms are bright and cheery with great views and some even have little balconies looking out over Kenmare Street. The lobby is super stylish, complete with leather couches, bicycles and funky lighting. I wanted to sit there all day in one of the large oversized leather chairs and just read the paper. If you need a great place to stay in the city, I definitely recommend checking out this cute little
On Sunday, Casey and I met up with friends at The Standard Beer Garden in the Meatpacking District. Even in the late afternoon, it was still 95 degrees outside, which is crazy and you feel like you want to just walk around in a bathing suit. But after battling extreme heat day after day, I get pretty tired of just wearing the same shapeless sundress or basic tank and shorts. I want to still attempt to look stylish even if it’s roasting outside! So I decided to take it up a notch and
Silk, denim and leather – it was a no brainer this morning. Far too cold to be making decision of any kind a part from “should I press snooze one more time?“. …And by home I mean lounge room where I spent the entire afternoon as I really wanted the comfort of the couch and warmth of the golden sun and over-sized mink blanket. Sydney, when will you be warm again? WEARING Superdry Jeans, Superdry Knit, Superdry Tee, Random Hat from Byron Bay I hoard knits like I do sneakers. Any opportunity I get I buy new ones I do, but, I am super fussy when it comes to style, cut and type of wool. I like an over-sized fit, I’m partial to a little bit
I’ve been wearing sleeveless blazer vests for a while now and have always felt like they are extremely versatile and the perfect piece to throw on over anything. So when Le Tote asked me to style this vest by BB Dakota, I couldn’t wait. I kept the look simple by wearing black, white and neutral pieces, which kept the overall outfit chic yet still classic and easy to wear. Lately, I have been trying out crop tops and matching two-pieces more and more. It’s new and exciting for me but I’ve found when wearing the right pieces, these slightly intimidating styles can look really cute and feminine. I also think the reason I love two-piece outfits is because more often than not, they can be worn separately. That said, I definitely plan to remix these two pieces sooner than later, so stay tuned!
