I feel like a blazer and a pair of dark jeans are classics in any women’s wardrobe, so I wore mine on one of the last freakishly mild days in New York. With a Balenciaga that I’ve had for longer than I’ve been blogging! Blazer: Kenneth Cole men. Try C Meo or Asos premium blazer (love the collar). Jeans: Levis. Try A Gold E or Shoes: Steve Madden. Bag: Balenciaga (new) or get one pre-loved from places like Vestiaire Collective. Belt: Zara. Watch: Gucci. Shades:

Typically pinstripes are rendered in dark wooly fabrications, too heavy to wear outside of air conditioning in summer. Instead keep an eye out for cotton designs in lighter shades. For an off duty take I’ve paired these culottes with a denim halter from Karen Walker’s resort collection, woven heels and a top-handle bag. But if you’re after a more office appropriate look there’s also a matching blazer which you can find here. Top, Karen Walker. Pants, Kate Sylvester.
I didn’t really know a lot about french label Lemaire prior to their Uniqlo collaboration… Incase you too are new to the brand, they pretty much create the most beautiful, classic pieces; the majority made out of wool. But with price points that reach into the thousands their Uniqlo collection is sweet relief. You can shop a few pieces online here, but head in store for a larger selection. And while we’re speaking of new ranges, I’ve been getting a whole lot of wear out
Ahhh double denim. This look has been around for quite a while now, but have you given it a go? Here are my tips for pulling off this look. Wearing: Madewell denim shirt, J Brand jeans, Isabel Marant belt, Ray-Ban sunglasses, Aquazzura heels1. Choose denims of complementing but different hues. Don’t go exactly the same otherwise the look will blend too much, but also try not to go too opposite as you’ll lose the double denim affect.2. Break it up and elevate the look with hardware
Thanks a million for the kind words in yesterday’s post… Shirt: Zara. Shorts: Levi’s (DIY shredded). Try Urban Outfitters (loads are on sale). Sandals: Mango. Bag: Chanel. Similar from Calvin Klein and Rebecca Minkoff. Shades: Ray-Ban. Bandana: Vintage shop in Brooklyn I know you say I help you but honestly, a lot of you help me! Those snippets of a conversation with you are absolutely priceless. Ok so back to reality… I semi lived in these
I was totally apprehensive about wearing a pair of knitted trousers, let alone a matching jumper too… When I walked out the door in this set my hubby asked if I was wearing pyjamas… I was feeling so comfortable I started to doubt my decision to don the snuggly set outside. But come on. Don’t I have the right to feel as snug and comfortable during the day as I do at night? Fashion isn’t all about pain and every once and a while I deserve to slouch my way through the day
Remember back at fashion week, when I wore a bevy of cute jackets…. Well the lineup included a whole lot of Iro Paris. Yip that’s right, the hot red leather number is from the cool french brand, that killer technicolor bomber too. So I’m pretty much over the moon that I can get my hands on even more from the uber-chic label now that they’ve set up shop a few suburbs east of me. You know what that means… instead of being drip fed a few cute styles, us Sydney-siders
photos by marcel @ onedapperstreet.com I’m wearing: Ganni blouse. Topshop bralette. Abercrombie jeans. Cos shoes. Elizabeth and James bucket bag. I get way too comfortable in my habits, in my routine. Until I realize, gosh, how boring. So, I’m going to start playing around with my hair and with my makeup, so get ready! How do you like the straight hair? Nice for a change, right? SOURCE: Just Another Fashion Blog | by Lisa Dengler - Read entire story here.
