Stand back in amazement. Three INC International Concepts denim looks back to back! The first is a biker jacket in dark green velvet that I picked out as part of the #INCstyle look. I have a thing for velvet in jewel colors so this forest green one was right up my alley, I paired it with a pair of INC’s skinny jeans, suede ankle boots and gold circle earrings. The second look is a simple crop frayed black jean and blouse. Side note: It’s the same blouse in worn with the velvet

I don’t know why but as you know I’ve gone absolutely potty over sock boots. This coming from the brogue loafer wearing woman. These floral sock boots were featured on my YouTube fall haul video (you can watch it here and please excuse the screaming). Of course I’m thoroughly aware that these are inspired by the Balenciaga knife boots but I’d rather invest in classic pieces instead (*cough* like the recent loafers on my Instagram stories *cough*). These pointy floral

Photo via: MadewellThe new arrivals at Madewell are literally Pieces of summer perfection. This Denim skirt happens to be one of the must-haves on our list from the site. Wear it with a funky t-shirt and some strappy sandals or dress it up with a silky blouse and chunky espadrilles. Either way you style it you're bound to get a lot of wear out of this cool piece. When in the Caribbean I never wear sleeves during the day. Mum doesn’t have AC in her house or in her car so the level of perspiration this induces demands anything with maximum ventilation. I made the rare exception on this airy partial sleeve blouse because everything else about it ticks off the boxes and it doesn’t suffocate. The contrasting earrings are for a fun color clash. ps. I’m addicted to this little bag. pps. A new video went live on my YouTube channel on how to
Wearing: Matin top, 3X1 wide leg cropped jeans, Ray-Ban sunglasses, Simon Miller bag, Jimmy Choo heelsA helpful tip with shopping for jeans online is building up a few go-to styles and shapes that you know really work for your body shape. For me this is the cropped mini boot cut (JBrand example and Frame example), a mum style straight leg jean (3×1 example) and these… a mid to high rise cropped wide leg style.Key points for me when choosing the right denim are styles that show the
I have a love hate relationship with jeans because when you loose weight, jeans are your best friend. When you gain weight, they are your worst. Recent text conversation with my friend: Daria: “Going through closet. Found Mom’s jeans. Literally my Moms jeans from 1970/80 or something.” They have zero percent stretch so I have to lose five pounds to sit down in them.” Scales are over rated. Like Daria, I use jeans as a fat barometer. Why use a scale when what we
I’m really careful with trench coats. For some reason they look like I borrowed them from a retired detective. I’ve tried on loads and this one from &Otherstories felt the most me. The slouch is enough, the denim is lightweight and the oversized black buttons reads vintage. Maybe it’s the beige color of normal trenches that is throwing me off? Either way, I’ve linked to more light weight denim trenches below including mine. ps. Thank you for the comments on the
There is just too much good stuff out there to rotate in for Spring so I’m starting now with a new pair of floral jeans. I can’t be bothered going from shop to shop, trying the usual single pair of embroidered jean in a one size fits all, so I did it at Topshop instead for the mother load of them in various cuts. I tried on at least five in completely different patterns and fits including this blue on blue pair (good for toe dipping into the trend) and the star patterned Jamie

OK, I’ve been totally slack lately… Between the millions of pre-christmas soirees, impending travel plans and excitement/stress of next year’s London move (yeah, I’m doing it finally!) I’ve had next to no time to shoot outfit posts But thankfully I just got my hands on a genius (and very slick) instant camera, the brand-spanking new Leica Sofort. Coz instant film always looks cool and makes snapping outfits on the go so fricken simple. So here’s some festive
Have you picked out a new coat yet? Two weeks ago I had a big coat purge and used the opportunity to find one that’s completely different to what I chucked. Last week at Topshop, this wool teddy coat stood out as the justifiable update. I’m not too surprised to find it there though after shopping the Oxford Circus branch for years in London. To say their coat selection is varied is an understatement. Choosing between oversized wool coats in dusty pink, animal prints, satin,
