Stand back in amazement. Three INC International Concepts denim looks back to back! The first is a biker jacket in dark green velvet that I picked out as part of the #INCstyle look. I have a thing for velvet in jewel colors so this forest green one was right up my alley, I paired it with a pair of INC’s skinny jeans, suede ankle boots and gold circle earrings. The second look is a simple crop frayed black jean and blouse. Side note: It’s the same blouse in worn with the velvet
I blame Balenciaga for putting pointy sock boots firmly back on the style map. I say ‘back’ because they point sock boots have been around for years but the Balenciaga knife boots put the most severe witchy twist on them and an ‘Crap I want that vibe.’ To be honest I wasn’t even sold on the Balenciaga’s for weeks, but like a song on the radio, the repeat exposure chips away. Mine are from Zara and per my snapchat on Saturday (and Instagram stories), even
Spending last weekend upstate was a reminder that Fall really is here. Not even sort of but actually here. Being an avid believer that it’s full on transitional weather, I made a how to wear outfits in the Fall video on my current YouTube video. It’s really just about the Falll transition with five Fall outfit ideas to hopefully get you thinking about what to wear for Autumn. Let me know which look you like and please subscribe to my YouTube channel! I’m planning a Fall
The cool thing about spring is wearing jackets while it’s still south of seventy degrees. In New York I’ve always thought that it’s a really short window for them so the rotation is on. This white leather jacket has been with me for years (before Straight To Hell stopped making them). You can see more outfit pictures in it here and in all white here. It’s like the poor mans version of the Saint Laurent leather jacket (sharp intake of breath at that price tag). If you
Sometimes a repeat purchase is better the second time around… Wool poncho: Maison Jules. Seen before with fringe boots. Similars: one of these or DKNY. Jeans: Levi’s. Boots: Zara. Try Topshop (I like these rust colored ones), Chloe (on sale) or Marc Jacobs (on sale too) So these boots are so good I got them in suede. They are more comfortable than the black leather versions. Both said size 10 on the site but the suedes are one size bigger – an unexpected bonus.
I especially love touches of it during Autumn and Winter though…. Dress: Second hand. Beatle Boots: Trash & Vaudeville. Try below links or go with Topshop’s silver boots. Coat: Housing Works. Try Mango’s Military coat. Bag: Celine But to be perfectly honest with you, I still cannot get enough of metallic gold boots. You saw them a few weeks ago with jeans: here. I say Miista, Robert Festa or Barbara Bui for versions that will have people doing a double take when you
Sticking to the classics with a slight twist. Lurex top: Mens H&M. Skirt: Topshop (try this pink one). Boots: Topshop. Bag: Vintage. Shades: Ray-Ban Wayfarers in leather: Available at Sunglass Hut. London Fashion Week ended earlier this month and I have to say that I miss London!! I need to cross the pond pronto. Ray-Ban’s always make me think of the place being they are a nod to punk without being literal. These ones are leather which is an update to the usual foldables
