Wearing: Georgia Alice shirt, Anna Quan pants, A Pair and A Spare sandals, Simon Miller bag, Elizabeth and James sunglasses Just, relax.Easier said than done, but what I can do it dress that way. Perfectly oversized, yet not swamping is what we’re going for. These wide leg black with contrast white stitching trousers are more than ideal, and could be styled with a more firm fitting top to make the wide leg the feature. Keep it in black and the stitching will really pop.As for this shirt,
The jacket of the season has to be the grey (preferably checked or Prince of Wales to be exact) blazer. If you can’t get your hands on one, here’s a few I found. The incredible ‘Maison de Maître’ in Ghent dates back to the 19th century, but thanks to a loving restoration by Hans Verstuyft Architecten in 2013, is now a stunning pairing of heritage meets minimalist design. The steel extensions which were added to the exterior allow a stream of natural light to enter the living spaces, while the custom cabinetry, timber flooring and sleek furnishings bring the space together. A true modernist dream.Images via Hans Verstuyft Architecten SOURCE: Home -
On a rainy Saturday in Provence, I awoke to the distant rumbling of thunder sparing with the town’s bell tolls marking the hour to awake. It was market day in my village, I had no choice but to brave the rain and I’m glad I did for it led me to these melon toned roses that set my day on a new path and brought to life the natural curiosities all around me… The post Still life with Roses & Snails appeared first on Ann Street Studio. I gave it a good go, but I’m ready to trade in my platinum blonde for something a little closer to my natural shade. And by natural I mean a lighter brunette and no more gray!! Like all of my hair appointments I’ve pulled together a little inspiration board to show my stylist. Here’s what I’m thinking - but I could use some help!Option one is to keep the length and go in over the light blonde with a darker shade and keep my current cut like the this top set of photos. The other idea I’m playing

This outfit, while originally planned for Cuba, wound up being perfect for our impromptu trip to Miami. We spent the evening walking along 2nd Ave and checking out the pop up shops at Wynwood Market, and Joshua snapped these photos right as the sun was setting. I found this dress on a mannequin at Charlotte Russe a couple months ago (below), and the shoes were at J.Crew Factory around the same time (they appear to be samples maybe? they have a regular J.Crew logo that's crossed out in marker -
Wearing: Ray-Ban glasses from OPSM, Reformation dress, A pair and Spare sandalsSince getting glasses a few years ago I’ve stuck to a simple black frame, but there have been occasions where they just don’t work with my outfit as they’re a bit too heavy and contrasting. They’re very office chic but not so much summer soirée. I realised a lighter coloured pair could work better with the more neutral colour palette in my wardrobe, and wouldn’t contrast as much as the
I blame Balenciaga for putting pointy sock boots firmly back on the style map. I say ‘back’ because they point sock boots have been around for years but the Balenciaga knife boots put the most severe witchy twist on them and an ‘Crap I want that vibe.’ To be honest I wasn’t even sold on the Balenciaga’s for weeks, but like a song on the radio, the repeat exposure chips away. Mine are from Zara and per my snapchat on Saturday (and Instagram stories), even
Whichever side of the world you're on, you're either still donning your favourite blazers and coats, or doing some new season shopping as Fall approaches. Either way, a well cut jacket is always a good investment, and something you can wear time and time again. For me, I knew it was love when I tried on this houndstooth version by Viktoria & Woods. The perfect oversized cut in a statement pattern that stills feels perfectly classic. I have to say, as much as I love Summer, layering is always
Inspiration: @chrisellelim via popsugar Well guys... looks like I will be experiencing my first-ever hurricane! (We just happened to be out of town last year for Hurricane Matthew.) We are hunkering down this weekend as Irma passes over, so it's very likely I won't be posting early next week. (I will be updating my Instagram, however, so feel free to follow along there.) Let's end the week with a "bang" - a bold stripes on stripes on
